Job Description: Working in Engineering Design – Gas Process Engineering, this position provides technical support on natural gas processing and related systems design as well as relevant pipeline operations.
- 5 years of petrochemical/natural gas processing experience, preferred in the gas conditioning and oil field production areas
- Experience in troubleshooting, startup, performance testing and design of process plants and equipment
- Knowledge of process plant components such as two/three phase separators, pumps, heat exchangers, heaters, refrigeration units, fin-fan coolers, pipe flow, vapor recovery systems, etc.
- Working knowledge of process simulation software (e.g., Process, Hysis, ChemCad II)
- Experience working with field/plant operating personnel
- Basic understanding of combustion, corrosion control and process instrumentation concepts
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Project planning and implementation skills
External Qualifications :
- BS in Chemical Engineering, BS in Mechanical Engineering may be acceptable
- EIT Certification
- Professional Engineering Certification Preferred
